We want the summer camp experience at Mt. Gilead to be authentic and distraction free. We feel technology can pull campers away from meaningful experiences and often times valuable relationships that can last a lifetime. For this reason, we ask: please do NOT bring cell phones, game boys, tablets, personal music devices (iPods, cd players) or other such electronics with you to camp. We guarantee you are going to have more fun without them.  Campers should leave expensive watches, jewelry, and electronic items at home. Disposable cameras are great for camp, although campers may bring digital cameras if they wish. For safety reasons fireworks, pets and open-toed shoes are not allowed at camp. Out of respect for the varying ages and backgrounds of our campers, our dress code does not allow halter, tube, cropped tops or bikinis at camp.
