We want the summer camp experience at Mt. Gilead to be authentic and traditional. We feel technology can pull campers away from meaningful experiences and often times valuable relationships that can last a lifetime. For this reason we ask: please do NOT bring cell phones, gameboys, tablets, personal music devices (iPods, cd players) or other such electronics as they are not permitted. Campers should leave expensive watches, jewelry, and electronic items at home. Disposable cameras are great for camp, although campers may bring digital cameras if they wish. For safety reasons fireworks, pets and open-toed shoes are not allowed at camp. Our dress code does not allow halter, tube, cropped tops, bikinis, short shorts or any type of overly tight clothing. Gum, Candy, Soda and playing cards are also not allowed at Mt. Gilead Camp.
