Daily Schedule

Campers are grouped by cabins and divisions according to their grade.

Girls spend time interacting with their cabin group, divisional group (see below), and the entire camp population at different times throughout the week.

A Regular Week at Mt. Gilead starts on Sunday at 3pm and ends on Saturday at 9am. (See Arrival & Departure)

For campers staying more than one week in a row, the option to stay over the weekend is also available. 

Campers are grouped by divisions and in most activities according to their grade.

Adventurers are entering grades 2 through 5.

Searchers are entering grades 6 and 7.

Observers are entering grades 8 and 9

Conquerors are entering grades 10 through 12.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Camper

7:30 Rise and Shine!
8:00 Morning Watch (personal devotions)
8:30 Breakfast
9:15 Flag Raising
9:30 Cabin Devotions
10:25 1st Activity (e.g., horseback riding)
11:20 2nd Activity (e.g., ceramics)
12:15 Cabin Capers (time to organize that cabin!)
12:30 Lunch
1:35 Free Time (visit the pool, water trampoline, the camp store or just hang out with friends in the hammocks!)
3:30 3rd Activity (e.g., riflery)

4:25 4th Activity (e.g., high ropes)
5:20 Cabin Time (spend some quality time with your counselor and cabinmates)
6:00 Dinner
7:15 Evening Activity (play something fun with your division or the whole camp)
8:15 Guest Speaker, Songs, and Campfire
8:45 Evening Cabin Discussions
9:00 – 9:45 Lights out!
