Mt. Gilead Camp is a non-denominational Christian summer camp for girls ages 6-17. There are 5 weekly sessions. Girls may stay for any number of sessions. Mt. Gilead offers an atmosphere of relaxed fun and fellowship and the opportunity to experience God right in the middle of his creation without the distractions of technology and everyday life.

Campers are grouped in Divisions according to their completed grade. Girls spend time interacting with their cabin group, divisional group, and the entire camp population at different times throughout the week. Adventurers are completing grades 2 through 4. Searchers are completing grades 5 and 6. Observers are completing grades 7 and 8 and Conquerors have completed grades 9 through 11.

Mt. Gilead staff members are devoted Christians who enjoy the outdoors, sharing God's love and working with youth. Positions are filled through an application process that includes screening, reference checks, background checks, and personal testimonies. The majority of our staff return year after year and many have completed the CILT program. Participation in pre-camp training is required of all staff and all are encouraged to earn certification in Red Cross First Aid and CPR. Staff members are anxious to share how Mt. Gilead and its staff members have impacted their lives throughout the years, if you have a couple minutes, ask a staff member about it and listen to the amazing ways God is using Mt. Gilead and the people working there.

Check in time is on Sunday afternoons from 3:00-4:30. Express check-in is available for those who are paid in full and have deposited pre-paid tuck money in their account. Check out time is Saturday morning between 9:30-11:00, be sure to pick up left over tuck money and crafts at this time. For those campers staying more than 1 week, we offer the option of a stay over program. This program allows campers to stay at camp over the weekend and they will be cared for by our weekend staff. Parents are welcome to visit during this time and can take their camper out of camp for several hours (to eat, do laundry, etc.). Please make arrangements with camp office ahead of time.

Mt. Gilead believes in keeping their fees affordable so many girls have the opportunity to experience Christian camping at its best. Mt. Gilead does have a limited number of scholarships available to those experiencing financial difficulties. Please check the appropriate box while registering for more information.

Mt. Gilead operates a camp store called "The Tuck Shop". The store is open on the weekends during check in and check out for cash purchases. The store is open daily during the week during free time for campers to purchase snacks, ice cream, drinks, toiletries, t-shirts, etc. Campers make a "deposit" into an account and it works as a debit system throughout the week. Unspent money is returned Saturday morning during check out. There are no cash purchases during the week. Ceramic and leather projects are also deducted from this account. $20-$25 is usually a sufficient amount for a 1 week camper.
