Executive Director: Dave Trout
Dave and Janel Trout joined the ranks of Mt. Gilead in
2003, along with their children Daniel (13), Jessica (10),
and David (8). Dave brings with him degrees in Bible and
Camping Ministries, as well as a heart to see camp be
all the Lord intends it to be. He believes that Mt. Gilead's
ministry to girls is unique and vital, not to mention
set in a beautiful environment! Janel attended camp as
a camper and served as staff member for many years. The
Trout family savors time spent together on family vacations,
and Dave especially enjoys home renovation projects and
riding four wheelers. His favorite verse is Psalm 42:1:
"As the deer pants for the streams of water, so my
soul O Lord pants for you." Dave Trout was promoted
to Executive Director of Mt. Gilead Camp and Conference
Center in 2007 and brings with him more than 15 years
of experience in camping ministry. Dave has previously
served as the Director of Development at Mt. Gilead. |

Summer Director (2003-2008): Beth "Kalen" Yori
Beth Yori is a wife and mother of five, Katie (22), Brad
(20), Kimberly (17), Kelsey (15) and Karleigh (12). Beth
has been involved with Mt. Gilead since 1972 when she
came as a camper. She grew up coming to camp every summer,
graduated from the C.I.L.T. program in 1982 and joined
the Gilead staff where she has served in many different
capacities including counselor, WSI, Equine specialist,
kitchen manager, activity coordinator, business manager,
Assistant Director and now in her 6th year as Director.
Beth graduated from West Chester University in 1987 with
a BSED. Beth has been teaching at Woodlyn Christian School
for 10 years as a 4th grade teacher and middle school
math teacher. In her spare time she coaches basketball
and likes to do remodeling projects, sew and read. |
