Mt Gilead Camp and Conference Center

  Dad/Daughter Canoe Trip

1st Annual Dad/Daughter Canoe Trip

June 6, 7 (8)

Looking for a little adventure to get your summer off to a great start? Mt. Gilead is holding its first ever Dad/Daughter Canoe Trip. This is a great opportunity for Dads to spend quality time with their daughter experiencing God’s great creation while canoeing the scenic Delaware River. One daughter, completing 5th grade or older, may accompany each dad. This is a great trip for the first timer or the seasoned veteran. Arrive at camp on Friday evening, June 6th, any time after 7:00 pm. There will be games, snacks, and a campfire. Saturday morning breakfast will be served at camp before being shuttled out to the river to begin your adventure. Picnic style lunches will be supplied for the mid-day meal and the day will conclude with a riverside barbeque. Once you’ve returned to camp, the structured programming is over, but you are welcome to stay the night. A light breakfast will be provided Sunday morning for those staying. There are a limited number of spots available so register early. Mt. Gilead will supply canoes, paddles, life jackets (may bring your own), breakfast, lunch, dinner, and transportation.
